The Cheesecake Factory was among five companies that received a Circle of Excellence Award this year from the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) for creatively using incentive campaigns to achieve successful results.
The awards were given out during Incentive Marketing's 16th Annual Executive Summit recently in Nashville. The other four winners were
Cisco Systems of San Jose, Calif.; IBM of Armonk, N.Y.; Lumo Energy of Melbourne, Australia; and Wesco Distribution of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
IMA officials said California-based Cheesecake Factory was selected in part because it partnered with Cashstar to produce a Consumer Offer, Branding and Customer Loyalty Program.
Recognizing productive companies during times when the economy is crippling businesses is important, IMA officials said.
"Now, more than ever, we need to position incentive and recognition programs as effective tools to drive business," IMA Executive Director Donna Chrobak said. "IMA's Circle of Excellence Award does just that, by honoring organizations for effectively designing and implementing incentive and recognition programs that create an engaged work force, improve employee performance and build customer loyalty."
Launched in 2000, the awards identify and recognize outstanding examples of successful customer and employee incentive programs designed to help drive business. Both the company and the incentive marketing partner are recognized.
