The Illinois Technology Association (ITA) recently created a new Talent Advisory Board.
"Talented people are the lifeblood of any business and they aren't always easy to find -- especially in the technology sector," Trisha Degg, ITA director of talent programs, said. "I'm thrilled to be able to bring this experienced group of people together to assist the ITA in building out and refining the programs that we offer our members."
The new board unites leaders in recruitment and talent development to collaborate on positioning Chicago, Illinois as a premier destination for technology industry talent. The board also will provide strategic direction and guidance on the development of new ITA talent initiatives, and will assist in assessing the effectiveness of current programs.
As the ITA continues to grow and expand as the voice for the local technology community, it is committed to fostering collaboration among the community to help solve common issues and identify opportunities where the community itself can become stronger.
The Talent Advisory Board is just one of several advisory boards the ITA is planning to launch this year. Additional groups will be formed around Demand Generation and Product/Technology Development to help guide ITA programs.
