Ridesharing company CabbyGo launched in Chicago this week and is now available from downtown to the north, south and west sides.
Neighborhoods served include River West, Streeterville, Lincoln Park, Bucktown, Wrigleyville, Hyde Park, Bridgeport and Englewood.
"With our patented Value-Set Technology, drivers can offer lower prices, plus our service is consistently better than through any other company or app," Joshua Freedman, CabbyGo's founder and CEO, said.
"CabbyGo is going to revolutionize the taxi business in Chicago," Freedman said. "With our patented Value-Set Technology, drivers can offer lower prices, plus our service is consistently better than through any other company or app."
CabbyGo drivers are screened and must pass an extensive background check, have a commercial driver's license and be properly insured. Customers also can use the company's app to choose drivers based on a variety of qualities, such as price, distance from arrival, type of vehicle and service reputation.
Freedman said CabbyGo is the best way to get a safe, affordable and reliable ride anywhere in Chicago using a mobile phone to connect to a driver at the touch of a button.
