Health Care Service Corp. this week named Andy Napoli senior vice president and chief customer service officer.
"During this time of change and increased consumer demands, Andy's strong legacy of leadership will help strengthen our company's superior customer service offering, an important differentiator in today's competitive health care market," Karen Atwood, HCSC's executive vice president for service and technology, said. "With varied experience as a veteran, executive, professor and mathematician, Andy can bring a unique perspective to help enhance our customer service experience for all our customers."
Atwood said Napoli will report to her in leading its Service Delivery and Operations Division, where he will help build upon HCSC's reputation for superior customer service.
Napoli served nearly 15 years in the Army, including a Desert Storm tour. He brings strong leadership experience from executive roles at various esteemed companies, including Aetna, The Hartford Financial Services Group, CUNA Mutual Group, Nationwide and Progressive.
At Aetna Napoli, a West Point alumnus, served as vice president in the office of the president, where he was responsible for strategy, process excellence, integration and other projects related to government services, commercial and specialty business. Prior to Aetna, he served as president of consumer markets and head of enterprise business services at The Hartford Financial Services Group.
