The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce's board recently approved eight directors during its quarterly meeting.
The new directors are Matthew Alberico, vice president of sales and account management for Cigna; Kevin Cassidy, senior vice president of employer group sales and client management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois; Robert Gabriel, campus director at University of Phoenix; Frank Julian, vice president of government, legal and public affairs for Macy's; Jon Stanner, chief financial officer for Strategic Hotels & Resorts; Cristel Turner, senior director of brand development and advertising for U.S. Cellular; Bill White, CEO of Quantum; and Michael Wood, director of business sales at Verizon Wireless.
“These new board directors are well-suited to carry on the chamber’s legacy of leadership, guide us toward achieving our long-term goals and continue to drive growth and innovation in our region,“ Chicagoland Chamber President and CEO Theresa Mintle said.
The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce board of directors is made up of more than 125 of the region's influential business and civic leaders.
