VISANOW, a Chicago-based company that simplifies and expedites the immigration process, has hired Gretchen Keefner as vice president of sales.
Before joining VISANOW, Keefner held roles of increasing responsibility at CareerBuilder. She most recently served as director of major markets for its health care division and was responsible for partnering with the top 450 health care organizations in the United States.
“Gretchen’s vast knowledge of the human resources industry coupled with a deep understanding of building and managing consultative sales teams will be integral to accelerating the record growth we achieved last year,” VISANOW President and CEO Dick Burke said. “In particular, her extensive work with health care organizations ranging from national hospital systems to regional home health companies will play a key role in expanding our services and capabilities in the health care sector, which continues to experience a growing skills gap that we know could be supported with international talent.”
Keefner has also served as director of national accounts for CareerBuilder’s staffing and recruiting group. She was involved in the development of solutions for the 50 largest staffing firms in the United States.
“For more than 12 years, I have witnessed how breakthrough technology can significantly improve the lives of both employers and prospective employees,” Keefner said. “Early in my career, I saw firsthand how leveraging the internet revolutionized customers’ ability to recruit effectively. At VISANOW, I have the opportunity, once again, to eliminate obstacles in the hiring process through innovative technology. In today’s complex and talent-scarce market, businesses can’t afford to continue spending large amounts of time and money on their foreign national hiring process. VISANOW’s solutions allow HR leaders to spend more time where it counts - on strategic initiatives that increase retention, engagement and lead to greater business growth. I am thrilled to be a part of that.”
