Small-business owners and entrepreneurs from across Chicago gathered this week at South Side business incubator Englewood Blue to listen to talks from three cybersecurity experts.
The experts, Vasco Bridges III, CEO of JANO Technologies and executive director of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses; James Webb, chief operating officer of Steadfast; and Jason Volmut, founder and CEO of CPURX, spoke about ways business can ensure online security in an era when cyberfraud has become commonplace.
The three discussed strategies for choosing cloud-based service and storage providers, as well as informing business owners about the range of cybersecurity solutions available.
This event was part of Crain’s Small Business Week, continuing the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce’s commitment to strengthen the small business support system throughout the area's diverse communities.
