Scott McKibben was recently promoted to the post of chief investment officer at Chicago-based Brennan Investment Group.
In his new role, McKibben will helm the firm's acquisitions and developments of industrial properties. These will include properties originating from the company's headquarters in Chicago and from the company's regional offices in California, Texas and Florida.
Additionally, McKibben will oversee the opening of an East Coast office in 2016.
McKibben co-founded Brennan Investment Group five years ago alongside the company's other managing principals.
Previously, McKibben was the co-founder of Madison Partners Realty, which purchased, managed and leased industrial buildings in the Chicago and Milwaukee markets.
Over the course of his career, McKibben has closed nearly $3 billion in transactions.
McKibben received a bachelor's degree in finance in 1991 from DePaul University, then went on to earn a master's of science degree in real estate appraisal and investment analysis in 1994 from University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Business and his Juris Doctor in 1994 from University of Wisconsin Law School.
He is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
