Butch's Trucking, Inc., a Texas oil and gas servicing companies, is running a private treaty sale through Hilco Industrial and Gordon Brothers Group, both with offices in Illinois, to sell an extensive fleet of trucking and heavy haul equipment.
Butch's Trucking made the strategic decision to discontinue its third-party contract heavy haul service. Hilco Industrial and Gordon Brothers are expected to run the sale through November.
"Butch's is one of the most reputable service companies in this industry, and we are excited to offer their exceptionally maintained fleet of late model heavy haul assets to the marketplace," a representative from the joint Hilco and Gordon venture said. “The company's reputation for servicing large blue chip oil and gas companies is unsurpassed. The combination of heavy haul tractors and the capacity of Butch's crane fleet make this a unique offering to the Industry.”
On sale are more than 100 heavy haul trucks, trailers, cranes, and wheel loaders. That includes more than 50 road winch, gin and slick back trucks, and more than 30 heavy haul trailers.
Butch’s is also selling off heavy equipment such as 100-ton Manitowoc crawler cranes, a Grove Hydro 275-ton crane and a Grove Hydri 165-ton crane. Also on offer are wheel loaders, forklifts and service trucks.
The assets for sale can be viewed in Texas by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by visiting www.hilcoind.com/butchs.
