SAVO Group hired Doug Marquis as its new executive vice president of product development, company officials announced Monday.

"Doug brings proven leadership in driving innovative technology development in an agile environment," SAVO Group CEO Jason Liu said. "We are further accelerating our work in this area so Doug is a good fit, especially given his experience in high-growth environments."

Marquis, who has over 20 years of leadership expertise in driving technology initiatives, platform development and process across entrepreneurial organizations, said he was thrilled to join SAVO.

"SAVO's technology platform has been defining the sales enablement space since its inception," he said. "SAVO continues to pioneer next-generation capabilities and there is opportunity for further development innovation for the entire product development organization."

Prior to joining SAVO, Marquis was most recently senior vice president for technology and operations at OpinionLab, an SaaS pioneer and global leader in omnichannel voice of customer-feedback solutions. He also held a senior vice president role at Local Offer Network, where he helped to drive technology platforms for product processes that resulted in new types of products and content introduction in days as opposed to weeks.

Marquis also served as chief technology officer for RiverGlass, an analytics software platform, where he grew the company to a leading position in natural language processing and artificial intelligence.
