Sheree Petrone, of Collinsville, has joined the board of directors of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce.
Petrone is Dynegy Inc.'s executive vice president of retail, where she is charged with helming all facets of the company's retail electric sales business. This encompasses business development, customer service and operations.
Additionally, Petrone serves as the president of Homefield Energy and Dynegy Energy Services.
“Sheree brings a strong background of 16 years in commercial integration, energy trading and marketing, fuels and retail acumen to the Illinois Chamber’s board,” Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer Todd Maisch said. “With her commitment to volunteerism in the health and arts arenas, Sheree will be an asset to the Chamber and to the Illinois business sector as a whole.”
Illinois Chamber Board Chairman Mark Gambs said Dynegy has a long history of building relationships with communities, regulators, legislators and stakeholders.
“This aligns well with the Illinois Chamber’s dedication to active participation throughout the state of Illinois as it works with business for business,” Gambs said.
