Kraemer to speak at DuPage Children's Museum event

DuPage Children’s Museum in Naperville, Illinois, will welcome leadership expert and consultant Harry Jansen Kraemer Jr. as keynote speaker for a Thursday evening event.

"Leading UP: Building Blocks for Future Leaders" will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. A reception will be held immediately afterward at Noah’s, 119 Shuman Blvd.

“Quality learning experiences for young children have a direct impact on the level of success they will experience later in life, so it is a natural extension for DuPage Children’s Museum to host this event about leadership,” Sarah Orleans, president and chief executive officer of DuPage Children’s Museum, said. “Our previous business-focused innovation events have been hugely successful and we are thrilled to partner with the business community for another thought-provoking gathering.”

Kraemer is a professor of management and strategy at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he teaches in the MBA and the Executive MBA programs. He is an executive partner with Madison Dearborn Partners, where he consults with CEOs and other senior executives of companies.

Other panelists at the event will include Terry Franke, owner of Franke Associates, Northfield, Illinois; Connie Lindsey, executive vice president and head of corporate social responsibility and global diversity and inclusion at Northern Trust, Chicago; attorney Renee Kosiarek, North Central College, Naperville; and Kimberly Stull, director of exhibits and operations, DuPage Children’s Museum.
