Argosy University has received initial accreditation for its business programs from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners.
“Argosy University has shown a commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” Steve Parscale, ACBSP's chief accreditation officer, said.
Argosy offers several business degrees, including Associate of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Master in Business Administration, Master of Science in Management, Master of Science in Human Resources, Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, and Doctor of Business Administration.
The school, established in 1988, operates 19 campuses and an online division.
ACBSP accreditation takes into account the school's leadership, strategic planning processes, relationships with the community, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials and services, and educational support.
“The grant of programmatic accreditation from ACBSP is affirmation that the accredited business programs at Argosy University meet the standards established by this leading professional organization, and that our faculty, curriculum and support systems offer our students an uncompromising education,” Stuart Sigman, Argosy's dean of the Graduate School of Business & Management, said.
