Klingenberger appointed Marquette Corp.'s class I director

Mary Acker Klingenberger is Marquette National Corp.'s new class I director.

Klingenberger's appointment was announced in late Octoner by Marquette's board of directors.

"Marquette is fortunate to have Ms. Klingenberger join our Board of Directors," Paul M. McCarthy, Marquette's chairman and CEO, said. "Her significant banking and community experience will be an asset to our organization."

Klingenberger brings to Marquette Corp. 27 years of banking industry experience. She is the current president of Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School, a position she has held since 2013.

She has also worked as director of gift planning at Hinsdale Hospital and she was a Regional President for Harris Bank of Hinsdale.

Klingenberger graduated from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University and of Saint Mary's College. She has served on the boards of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, Fenwick High School, Wellness House and King-Bruwaert House.

Chicago-based Marquette National Corp. currently holds assets of about $1.53 billion and operates 22 branches throughout Illinois.
