Women of the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry should mark their calendars for the Women in Business Luncheon on Nov. 17.
The event is an informal luncheon and networking session that will feature a presentation from Lynette Gilbert, who has owned the Three Bags Full yarn studio for 14 years. Gilbert will highlight her business' products and class schedule.
Another featured speaker will be Nancy Gerstein, current chief executive officer of Creative Marketing, who will speak about her 25 years of marketing experience and the potential for small businesses to become more involved with their customers while keeping overhead low.
The event will take place at the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry office at 2002 Walters Ave. from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Admission is $12 for members in advance or $15 for guests and members at the door.
