Weblinx wins Academy of Interactive and Visual Art's award

Weblinx of Oswego, Illinois, has won an award for redesigning the Chicago Meat Authority's website.


Weblinx, Inc., based in Oswego, Illinois, recently received the Academy of Interactive and Visual Art's Golden Davey Award for redesigning the Chicago Meat Authority's website.

Weblinx provides companies in the Chicago area and across the nation with innovative, customized website designs.

“We are honored that our work was selected by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts to receive a Gold Davey Award,” Weblinx CEO Andy Clements said. “Our creative team deserves the credit for a successful launch of the redesigned Chicago Meat Authority website. Many thanks to the Chicago Meat Authority for partnering with Weblinx.”

Weblinx's entry was chosen from more than 4,000 submissions. Thirty-four agencies received gold awards for website design.

The Davey Awards are sanctioned and judged by representatives of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body of media, advertising and marketing professionals. Academy members include executives from Conde Nast, Disney, GE, Keller Crescent, Microsoft, Monster.com, MTV, Push., Publicis and Yahoo.
