The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is planning to hold its annual dinner and scholarship fundraiser on Jan. 21 at the Stonegate Conference & Banquet Centre in Hoffman Estates.
“Our annual dinner is a celebration of another successful year for the business community,” BACC President and CEO Suzanne Corr said. “2015 has been a vibrant year with a multitude of new business openings, effective networking events and more. BACC is an organization entrenched in our communities, with a strong history and allegiance to the success of local business. We come together in January to celebrate our people and their spirit.”
The 2016 BACC board of directors will be announced at the dinner, and awards will be presented for Small Business of the Year, Community Partner of the Year, New Business of the Year, Chamber Volunteer of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
Also honored will be Young Entrepreneurs of the Year.
Additionally, funds will be raised for the chamber's Lauren Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund for local high school students through a silent auction.
Tickets are $50 for BACC members, $60 for guests or $95 for a member and guest. Tables of 10 can also be reserved.
