The Barrington Chamber of Commerce (BACC) has selected new officers to serve in 2016.
“The BACC board drives the focus and direction of the chamber and is comprised of individuals dedicated to our mission -- to help local businesses succeed and keep our communities vibrant,” BACC President and CEO Suzanne Corr said.
The new leaders, who come from a variety of businesses and industries throughout the area, will be sworn in Jan. 21 at the chamber's annual dinner and scholarship fundraiser at the Stonegate Conference & Banquet Center.
New 2016 executive committee members include Patricia Jacobsen of Jensen, Jacobsen & Associates Inc., chairperson; Liz Luby of @Properties - The Luby Group, first vice chairperson of membership; Tom Cramer of Wintrust Mortgage, second vice chairperson of events; Edmund Tobias, of Tobias Family Dentistry, treasurer; and past chairperson Lisa Caputo of Morgan Stanley – The Schirmann Group.
New board members will be Liz Donofrio of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital; Dennis Kelly of FGMK Insurance Agency Inc.; and Jennifer Prell of Paxem/Elderwerks.
Returning board members are Joseph Connelly of BMO Harris Bank; Steve Cook of Quintessential Media Group; Keith Hanson of Hanson Law Group LLP; Andrea Herran of Focus HR Consulting; Paul Horcher of Refined Construction; Dr. Reinhold Llerena of AMITA Health Medical Group; Doug McAllister of Douglas Automotive Inc.; Charlotte Neault of Barrington Bank & Trust Co. N.A.; Scott Ray of Daily Herald Media Group; Heidi Seagren of Jameson Sotheby's International Realty; Barry Schimmel of Microshare Intl LLC; and Tom Strenk of Crystal Clean Building Solutions.
Advisory board members are Jeff Arnett of Barrington 220 Community School District; Gene Dawson of Barrington Area Council of Governments (BACOG); Detlev Pansch of Barrington Area Library; and Joyce Palmquist of Barrington Area Council on Aging (BACOA).
