For the skills of its staff, maintenance of its equipment, excellence in test methods and results, and overall exemplary environment, Daily Laboratories of Peoria, Illinois, has earned renewal of its ISO/IEC 1705:2005 accreditation.
"This accreditation for the microbiological testing confirms that we have the processes in place to aid our clients with their testing needs," Lisa Strickland, Daily Laboratories' president, said.
Daily's focus is on food and water microbiology testing. Such testing has become even more in demand as the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) takes effect. The lab does testing on products in the food, dairy, meat, produce, water, container and closures sectors as they strive to meet state and federal guidelines. The lab has been in operation for more than 50 years.
Daily is an arm of Mobilab Inc. and is accredited by American Global Standards under the ISO 17025 requirements of American International Accreditation Organization - Bureau of Accredited Registrars (AIAO-BAR).
