International insurance brokerage and risk management services company Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. of Itasca, Illinois, has purchased Pueblo, Colorado-based Centennial Insurance Agency.
This adds to Gallagher's already impressive portfolio of operations in 140 countries.
"Centennial is built on a culture that focuses on outstanding client partnerships, strong carrier relationships and team-based sales and service capabilities," J. Patrick Gallagher Jr., president and CEO of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., said. "Their strong Colorado presence and depth of expertise will be an excellent complement to our western region brokerage operations."
Centennial will continue to be led by Mark Swanson, David Swanson, Doug Helzer, Tom Ratzlaff and their team. Centennial operates offices in Colorado and New Mexico. The company will continue to be overseen by James McFarlane, head of Gallagher's western region retail property and casualty brokerage business.
