Teresa Katubig, president and chief executive officer of Extra Help Inc., founded in Marion, recently was named one of Enterprising Women magazine's 2016 Enterprising Women of the Year in the category for businesses that earn more than $25 million annually.

“It’s an honor to be nominated for such an award,” Katubig said. “I’m a huge advocate for helping other women be the best leaders they can be for their business and their community.”

Winners of the award are based on rate of business growth, mentoring and support programs for female entrepreneurs and community leadership.

Extra Help has become one of the region's leading employment, payroll and workforce services companies.

Katubig will accept the award at a ceremony in February in Miami.
