Roger Wood has been named to the board of directors of Tenneco Inc., the Lake Forest-based global manufacturing company said Monday.
“We are pleased to welcome Roger Wood to Tenneco’s board of directors with his proven leadership in driving growth through innovation and technology leadership,” Tenneco Chairman and CEO Gregg Sherrill said. “Roger is a highly successful executive and a very strong addition to our board with 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, and I look forward to his contributions.”
Wood, a graduate of the State University College in Buffalo, New York, and Syracuse University, is a Dana Holding Co. retiree; he also served the company as its president and chief executive officer. He previously worked for Borg Warner for 26 years, where he eventually became executive vice president and group president for the engine group.
Additionally, Wood sits on Brunswick Corp.'s board of directors and belongs to the University of Michigan Biological Station's advisory board.
