Dewberry, a professional services firm with offices in Peoria and Elgin, recently announced its acquisition of Wilson Architectural Group.
Wilson, based in Houston, boasts a portfolio of structures that includes health care facilities, corporate and commercial buildings, sports and recreational facilities and laboratories.
“The partners at Wilson had been seeking a firm that could help us increase our capacity to support our clients, provide more professional growth opportunities for our employees and support the future longevity of the practice in Houston," Gary Wilson, founding partner of Wilson Architectural Group, said. "Dewberry has the same outlook on solving clients’ problems. As we’ve started to integrate our operations into the firm, Dewberry has done everything it can to help us put our clients’ needs first.”
As Wilson is integrated into Dewberry, Wilson's Houston office will do business as Dewberry | Wilson.
“We are most interested in supporting Dewberry | Wilson’s current and future operations,” Dewberry CEO Donald Stone Jr. said. “Dewberry | Wilson enjoys an excellent reputation and track record in Houston. We feel strongly that the compatibility of our two firms will lead to further success in the region.”
