Illinois-based Extra Help names new COO


Extra Help Inc., based in Marion, recently named Rachelle Bauer as its chief operating officer.

In her new role, Bauer will oversee, develop and set the strategic direction for the company's professional and IT staffing division.

Bauer has nearly 20 years of experience in the professional staffing industry. She most recently served as managing director of client services for Kelly Mitchell Group Inc., where she worked through many roles including recruiter and branch manager.

"We are thrilled to have Rachelle on the Extra Help, Inc. leadership team," Teresa Katubig, president and chief executive officer of Extra Help, said. "Her deep expertise in contingent workforce solutions is strategically aligned with the growth we are experiencing as a company. We have undertaken a strategic planning process designed to best meet the needs of our clients and look forward to implementing in 2016 under Rachelle's direction."

Bauer participated in the Women's Leadership Forum at the Olin School of Business at Washington University and currently serves as a volunteer for several St. Louis non-profit organizations including Sweet Celebrations and ALS Foundation. She also serves on the board of directors at the Webster Childcare Center.

Extra Help was recently named by Enterprising Women Magazine as a 2016 Enterprising Women of the Year Award winner. Over the past 20 years, Extra Help has grown from one office in Illinois to eight locations nationwide.
