Illinois-based Extra Help Inc. recently promoted Amanda Hakenwerth to branch manager at the company's St. Louis location.
Hakenwerth has been with the professional workforce development and payroll company since 2013, first serving as a recruiter.
"This is the first ‘official' branch manager we've had in St. Louis," Sarah Powell, director of operations of the St. Louis location, said. "Amanda is hardworking and dedicated to her career, and I can't wait to see the difference she will make in her new position."
Hakenwerth will manage daily operations of the St. Louis location while still handling recruiting duties.
"I'm really looking forward to my new role, and the challenges that come with making 2016 our best year yet," Hakenwerth said. "I'm surrounded by a very supportive team, and we are ready for a successful year."
Extra Help started out in 1995 as a temporary employment agency, evolving into a full-service employment, payroll and workforce services company that serves more 1,000 companies across the United States.
