Manuel “Manny” Sanchez, founder and managing partner of Chicagho law firm Sanchez, Daniels & Hoffman LLP, was honored with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (PAC) Advocacy Champion Award last week.
“I am honored to have been selected as the 2016 Chicagoland Chamber PAC Advocacy Champion Award honoree,” Sanchez said. “The advocacy and policy efforts of the Chicagoland chamber are critical to ensuring a pro-business economic climate at all levels of government that is immensely important to the future of our great city, region and state. I'm proud to play a role in those efforts as a member of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.”
Sanchez serves on the chamber's board of directors and leads its employment law forum. He is actively engaged in the business and nonprofit communities in the region.
“The Chicagoland Chamber PAC supports political candidates who are strong leaders with a vision for ensuring our region remains economically competitive and who understand the importance of the business community’s role in creating jobs,” Chicagoland Chamber CEO and President Theresa Mintle said. “Manny Sanchez has been a dedicated champion for Chicago’s business and civic community for decades.”
Attendees of the event included Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner, Illinois Senate President John Cullerton, House Republican Leader Jim Durkin and Chicago City Council Finance Chairman Ed Burke.
