Exelon, headquartered in Chicago, recently said Daniel Eggers will become senior vice president of investor relations effective March 29.
Eggers will head Exelon’s management of investor relations activities and will serve as the key contact between the company and the investment community. He will also be responsible for communicating results to Wall Street.
Eggers previously worked as an analyst for Credit Suisse’s investment banking division, covering Exelon.
“Dan brings a distinguished track record of covering the power sector for a top investment bank,” Exelon Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Exelon Jack Thayer said. “His expertise in the electric utilities industry, as well as his long-standing relationships in the financial arena, will strengthen Exelon’s investor relations program and provide valuable insights for our senior management team.”
During his 18 years at Credit Suisse, Eggers held various roles, including senior coverage responsibility in the oil field service and equipment sector. He served as an associate on the integrated oils and independent refiners group.
Eggers also serves on the board of directors for Catholic Guardian Services, a group that provides social services to those most in need.
