Law Bulletin Publishing Company's Leading Lawyers division recently named 15 attorneys from Peoria law firm Quinn, Johnston, Henderson, Pretorius & Cerulo to the list of the top lawyers licensed to practice in Illinois.
Thirteen of the lawyers were named Leading Lawyers, a distinction earned by fewer than 5 percent of all lawyers registered to practice in Illinois; two of the firm's lawyers were named Emerging Lawyers, a distinction earned by fewer than 2 percent of all lawyers registered to practice in the state.
Those from the firm receiving recognition as Leading Lawyers include James Borland, Stephen Buck, Gregory Cerulo, David Collins, Christopher Crawford, Kenneth Eathington, Peter Jennetten, John Kamin, Michael Kraft, Matthew Maddox, Kevin Miller, Jeffrey Ryva and Matthew Smith. Adam Chaddock and Christopher Galanos were named Emerging Lawyers.
“We’re pleased to have so many Quinn Johnston attorneys awarded this honor by our peers," Quinn Johnston Senior Partner Greg Cerulo said. "It’s a privilege to have such a strong vote of trust by the many outstanding attorneys in Illinois."
Leading Lawyers compiled its lists of top lawyers from results of a statewide survey that asked lawyers who they would refer a friend or family member to if they could not take on a case. The lawyers recommended most often by peers are named as Leading Lawyers. Attorneys designated as Emerging Lawyers are those under age 40 or who have practiced law for 10 years or less.
