The Exchange 2016 is set for April 6 at the Swissotel Chicago, where keynote panelists will explore the social impact of doing good during the Social Impact Strong event.
More than 700 Chicago-area professionals and 100 exhibitors expected to attend the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce event, which includes a trade show and networking opportunities.
The keynote panelists will explore topics such as socially conscious business models, investing in the neighborhood, reinvigorating the local economy and helping neglected and underserved communities.
The panelists include Jacques Panis, president of Shinola, a Detroit-based manufacturer of watches, leather goods and bicycles; Steven Dyme, CEO and co-founder of Flowers for Dreams, which donates 25 percent of its profits to different charitable organizations each month; and Calvin Gin, chief financal officer of Blue Plate Catering, Chicago's first green-certified caterer.
Andrea Hanis, editor of Chicago Tribune's Blue Sky Innovation, will moderate the event.
