Naperville chamber reviews its successes, upcoming events

Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce President Nicki Anderson reviewed some of the successes the chamber and its members have experienced and upcoming events in a recent blog post.

The chamber started Legacy Circle, which serves as an incubator for multi-generational connections designed to promote personal, professional and community growth. The group will meet regularly to discuss goals and challenges. If interested in joining a group, write to Brianna at bbelgio@naperville.net.

The Commercial Real Estate Professionals (CREP) Network aims to be the key business networking organization dedicated to promoting the education and achievements of Naperville chamber professionals in commercial real estate. Its key initiatives are business and leadership development, industry education, market intelligence and career outreach.

The Chamber Speaker Series will host Geoff Colvin, author and editor-at-large of Fortune Magazine on May 3. His website features the phrase, "Rethink Leadership, Achievement and Human Possibility.”

Last year the chamber started a business book club, which is gaining momentum. The club is designed for busy professionals and is open to chamber members for free. Four books are read per year and the meetings are quarterly, with the next one on April 5.
