Illinois Central College English students will give eight-minute idea exchange presentations in the “A Way with Words” event at 1:00 p.m. April 29 in the academic building lecture/recital hall, Room 127F, on the East Peoria campus.
Each presentation will feature an original idea for making the world a better place, covering topics such as education, technology, agriculture and social justice.
Students will choose one peer’s semester capstone presentation to represent their class for the event. The school’s interpreter preparation program students will provide signed interpretations of the presentations as part of their semester internship.
This is the second edition of the event that is free and open to the public. Last year's event drew an enthusiastic crowd.
