The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Foundation has teamed up with GEM Advertising to promote the chamber's Pathways to Pipelines initiative scheduled for May 24 in Chicago.
Pathways to Pipelines focuses on the importance of internships and work-based learning experiences to meet the demand for a talented workforce. During the event, talent-development experts will take part in a panel discussion to explore why and how businesses should invest in future employees.
The chamber's foundation is the first regional client for GEM Advertising, which recently opened its Chicago location led by Managing Director Sharon Butler. GEM will create the visual identity for the initiative.
“After being a client of GEM Advertising for several years, it is an honor to now be a part of the amazing GEM family,” Butler said. “I am thrilled to be in Chicago overseeing the launch and operations of our newest location, and I look forward to GEM becoming a part of the fabric of the local community as we become a strategic partner in growth for area businesses. Given my recent background at a regional chamber in Connecticut, I couldn’t be happier to be working on a project with the Chicagoland Chamber.”
