The Young Springfield Professionals Network (YSPN), celebrating its 10th year, has announced upcoming events along with a few anticipated changes.
YSPN no longer charges a membership fee to join the group, allowing all young professionals in the community to experience the benefits of the organization.
YSPN hosted a community service event this week at the Ronald McDonald house, preparing dinner for residents staying at the facility.
This month's quarterly professional development event is “The Importance of Lobbying,” which takes place April 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce. Neil Flynn of Neil Flynn & Associates will discuss the topic. Lunch for the event is catered by Subway, a chamber member.
The YSPN monthly meetup will be held along with chamber's Business Connections event from 5 to 7 p.m. April 28 at the Prairie Capital Convention Center. YSPN members are welcome to network at the event.
