Gallagher Bassett Services Inc. (GB), based in Itasca, said recently that Jim Bond has become the international risk management services company's chief financial officer.
Bond will report to GB President and CEO Scott Hudson.
"Jim's financial and operations expertise gained from decades in the claims management sector is a terrific addition to Gallagher Bassett," Hudson said. "He understands the impact quality claims management has for our clients' businesses and the personal impact it has for injured workers or those suffering a loss. My team and I are excited to have him on board."
Bond officially joined the company in March.

Bond served for 10 years at ESIS Inc., a division of ACE USA, in Philadelphia, where he was chief financial officer and chief operating officer. Before that, he worked as the chief financial officer at Cunningham Lindsey, US, as well as Cambridge Integrated Services Group Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, in College Park, Maryland.
