The Northbrook Chamber’s Expo and After Hours offers members an opportunity to showcase their businesses and meet with potential new customers.
The July 25 event is being heavily promoted and is expected to draw more than 400 attendees from throughout the region. Hosted by the Hilton Chicago Northbrook, this year’s new location will allow a bigger, better expo, with for up to 63 exhibitors from the Northbrook, Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods (DBR) and Glenview chambers.
“The expo offers us an opportunity to showcase our hotel’s new look,” Hilton General Manager Holly Allgauer said. “It gives us a chance to show off the renovated lobby, prefunction space as well as new look in the ballroom.” Allgauer also hopes attendees will check out the beer garden on the newly landscaped patio that is now open seven days a week.
Ash Seth of 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons said he is looking forward to highlighting the men’s grooming business to a wider, hard to reach audience. “We plan to feature our handcrafted haircuts, straight edge razor shaves and other grooming services that we provide especially for men,” Seth said.
Similarly, the Bright Horizons preschool team hopes to highlight the programs and services they offer beyond traditional child care and preschool options, such as family resources, webinars and backup care. “The Expo helps us communicate our entire brand,” Michelle Milner said.
At the expo, it is easy for attendees to visit and learn about each business. The chamber organizes a scavenger hunt to encourage attendees to check out as many exhibitors as possible while enjoying complimentary refreshments.
All exhibitors are provided with a 6-foot skirted table, promotional postcards and a listing on all collateral material including print ads and the chamber website. Premium exhibitors are guaranteed a wall space assignment, space for floor signs, and electricity. Register before June 24 for early-bird pricing.
