Four Cary-area SERVPRO entrepreneurs were recognized for outstanding earnings during the company's 47th annual convention.
More than 2,800 franchise owners, staff and corporate representatives attended the convention several weeks ago at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Timothy Pearson and Scott Poremba, owners of SERVPRO of Barrington/North Schaumburg, received the Director's Silver Award. Josephine and Robert Hammerschmidt and Stephen Hammerschmidt, owners of SERVPRO of Southern McHenry County, received the President's Silver Award.
The Awards extravaganza event was a highlight of this year’s convention, based on the theme “All In.” A week worth of workshops and networking opportunities united franchise owners, team members, distributors, associates and corporate employees. Motivational speaker Connie Podesta gave the keynote address.
“SERVPRO understands running a small business is a challenge,” SERVPRO Industries CEO Sue Steen said. “Our annual convention gives us the opportunity to recognize individual franchisees that have excelled at building their business, as well as enhancing SERVPRO’s reputation as an industry leader in disaster cleanup, restoration and remediation services. We offer our sincere congratulations to this year’s award winners and to all of the dedicated professionals who work hard every day to provide world-class service to their customers.”
