Chicago-based TCS Group LLC, a family investment firm, has changed its name to Schwartz Capital Group (SCG).
The rebranding reflects SCG's focus on its asset management, private capital and strand equity partners businesses. It also celebrates the leadership and partnership of Tracy Schwartz Ward and Todd Schwartz, bringing the Schwartz name to the forefront. The company is also launching a new website, www.schwartzcap.com, to reflect the change.
"It is with much pride and enthusiasm that we celebrate our accomplishments with a new name that personalizes the family behind the entrepreneurial, dynamic, next-generation investment business that we are," founder and principal Ted Schwartz said. "I am very proud of the revolutionary, creative, and cutting edge ways that we do business. Our process will allow us to implement continuous improvement for generations to come."
The group's permanent capital base differentiates it from traditional investment firms, Tracy Schwartz Ward said.
"We invest with a multi-generational time horizon with strong managers and partners whose visions are aligned with our own," she said.
