Ameren Illinois is the top energy company in the Midwest for establishing brand trust among its business customers, based on results of a Cogent Reports study from Market Strategies International.
The study evaluates large electric utilities on the ways they meet the unique needs of business customers. Ameren Illinois also ranked third in the entire country in the same study.
"Overall, electric utilities are doing a fantastic job building relationships with their business customers," Chris Oberle, senior vice president at Market Strategies, said. "By scoring in the top quartile of its industry, Ameren Illinois demonstrates that it is a cut above the rest when it comes to delivering superior service to businesses."
The study measures brand trust by asking businesses to rate utilities on six factors: reliable quality, customer focus, communications effectiveness, community support, advocacy, and company reputation.
"I'm proud of the hard work our teams have put in to be a partner that Illinois businesses can count on to help them grow and succeed," Richard Mark, president of Ameren Illinois, said. "Each day, we're actively engaged with businesses and looking for creative ways to help them contain costs and improve their operating efficiency. It's great to see that our efforts are being recognized."
