Brian Sleet has joined the award-winning public affairs and communications firm Kivvit as a principal.
Sleet, a political professional and attorney, offers public affairs, policy and campaign experience.
"After 15 years working in government, politics and law, I'm now able to apply these experiences at Kivvit, a firm that's working on so many important issues going on in Chicago," Sleet said.
Sleet served as the campaign manager for Kim Foxx for Cook County state's attorney. He is widely credited with turning the campaign around, resulting in Foxx beating a two-term incumbent. He also served as chief of staff to Alderman Roderick Sawyer of Chicago's 6th Ward.
"Kivvit works on the most high-profile and complex communications and public policy challenges. Brian's expertise will be instrumental in helping our clients achieve their goals in this environment," managing partner Eric Sedler said.
Sleet serves on the board of directors at Chicago Votes Action Fund. He earned his bachelor's degree in sociology from Dartmouth and a juris doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.
