Fitness company Less Mills, a wholly owned subsidiary of Les Mills International, will relocate the company's stateside headquarters to Chicago by the beginning of November.
The new location will increase efficiency, allowing the company to grow more rapidly and deliver better service to its 3,500 U.S. customers across the United States.
Established in Auckland, New Zealand in 1968 by four-time Olympian Les Mills Sr., Les Mills inspires millions to move their bodies every week through 20 different forms of group exercise, adult team training and youth fitness programs.
"The decision to reunite the U.S. operations and relocate the headquarters to Chicago is directly attributed to our strategic shift to become more customer-centric and provide 360-degree support services to our customers, enabling them to build stronger relationships with their members and create healthier businesses," Les Mills U.S. CEO Brian Gagne said.
The new headquarters will be at 363 W. Erie St. in Chicago's River North neighborhood. Les Mills previously had offices in Baltimore and San Francisco; the consolidation decision was based on proximity to new and existing customers. A Chicago base also allows Les Mills easier access to partners throughout its global organization.
"We see this as a new opportunity to enhance and improve our business and we look forward to welcoming our team members into a productive environment that will enhance our collaboration and spirit of service," Gagne said.
