Software development company DevBright Inc. is moving from its co-working space at The Nest to a new space in Peoria.
The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. at the new office location, 2606 West Altorfer Drive.
“Since our founding in 2015, DevBright has become a well-respected and reputable software development company throughout Greater Peoria. We have four full-time employees and will continue to grow to support our clients’ needs,” Matt Scachette, president and founder of the company, said. “We are committed to designing and developing thoughtfully architected web, mobile and cloud-based software applications locally and the new office space will allow us to increase our capabilities in those key areas.”
“We are grateful for the support and resources provided by the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council and Startup Peoria that helped to contribute to DevBright’s growth,” David Sendelbach, director of development, said.
Startup Peoria coordinator Randon Gettys said DevBright is one of the region’s most promising startups and he is excited about their upward movement.
“DevBright is a testament to the vitality of the startup ecosystem in Peoria," Jennifer Daly, CEO of the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council, said. "According to Foundr, research shows that startups who work in a co-working space are four times more likely to succeed than those who don’t. We intend to help launch more successful ventures like DevBright and look forward to seeing their continued success as they contribute to the growth and sustainability of our local economy.”
