Three Sears Hometown and Outlet stores in Illinois have rebranded as "America's Appliance Experts" to meet changing consumer needs.
The rebranded stores in Flora, Olney and Vandalia kicked off their reopenings with a special celebration for customers. The store re-envisioning includes new products, fixtures and signage.
“We’ve given our stores a face lift that will completely change the appliance shopping experience in these communities,” Jeff McDowell, a district manager of Sears Hometown Stores in Illinois, said. “The changes made to our retail strategy, from increased training for our sales staff to more integration of products available in-store and online, have brought even more value to customers shopping for the perfect appliance to fit their needs.”
In the rebranded stores, appliances will occupy more than half of the sales floor. More brands will be available as well, with a focus on innovative offerings from Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Samsung and Kenmore. The new floor plan can also showcase entire kitchen packages, making it easier for consumers to pick appliances that suit their needs.
The three Illinois locations are part of a system-wide reworking of all Sears Hometown Store locations.
