JVM Realty Corp., a real-estate investment and property management firm, has appointed Ryan Lodes as vice president of capital markets.
Lodes has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services and investment industries. He will oversee JVM's marketing efforts to independent investment advisers, wealth managers and their clients throughout the United States.
He spearheaded JVM's membership application for DTCC's Alternative Investment Product (AIP) platform, which enables the firm's investment funds to be held on most major platforms such as Charles Schwab and T.D. Ameritrade.
"JVM is dedicated to hiring the most talented and experienced associates in the industry," JVM President and CEO Jay Madary said. "Ryan's strong background in private equity and track record of producing results make him the perfect fit for JVM."
Lodes recently served as vice president of national sales and business development for APRO II, a private equity fund. He has been responsible for various aspects of investor programs, including non-traded real estate investment trusts, business development companies, Regulation D offerings and private equity.
"I could not be more excited about the opportunity to present and position JVM's current offerings to advisors and their clients," Lodes said. "This is a first-class organization that has strategically structured its private equity investments to meet the needs of their investors and has built a solid reputation over the years because of trust and proven performance. Being able to now also assist wealth managers in portfolio diversification for their clients is a natural extension of the business model."
