Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. acquires Phoenix-based consulting firm

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired The MW Bagnall Co. based in Phoenix.

The MW Bagnall Co. is an employee-benefits broker as well as a human resources consulting firm that provides employee benefits, consulting services and insurance products to middle- and larger-market businesses in the Southwest. The company develops strategic plans and tailored benefit programs and also consults its clients from the private and public sector.

Mark Bagnall, Cynthia Walter and the rest of the MWB team will keep operating in their location, directed by Norbert Chung, the head of Gallagher's Western benefits-consulting and brokerage operations.
