Emma Vandeveer, South Side Trust and Savings Bank's vice president of marketing and sales, has been reappointed to the Illinois Bankers Association (IBA) Communications and Marketing Committee.
Vandeveer will review IBA communications such as the IBA website, Illinois Banker magazine and emailed newsletters. She will also provide feedback on the IBA's communications methods and practices in general. The communications and marketing committee also works on ways to improve the IBA's public-relations efforts to make the organization more useful to its members.
The Illinois Bankers Association, founded in 1891, is a full-service trade association designed to create a healthy business climate for banks and the communities they serve. The IBA serves small community banks on through the largest national banks in the United States.
