The board of directors of global medical tech company Hill-Rom Holdings Inc. has nominated two new directors to run in the upcoming election.
They will stand as directors at the company’s upcoming Annual Meeting of Shareholders on March 14. During the annual event, board member Eduardo Menascé is also intending to retire.
"We are pleased to be nominating Mary Garrett and Nancy Schlichting to stand for election to our board," Chairman Rolf Classon said in a news release, “I would also like to thank our colleague Eduardo Menascé for his 13 years of dedicated service as a Hill-Rom director and express, on behalf of the directors and Hill-Rom shareholders, our appreciation for his trusted leadership and insight."
Garrett led Global Marketing for IBM Corp. from 2009 until her retirement in 2015. She now works as a board member on the audit committee of Ethan Allen Interiors Inc.
Schlichting retired last month as president and CEO of Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.
The other candidates up for election are Classon, John Greisch, William Dempsey, Stacey Enxing Seng, James Giertz, Charles Golden, William Kucheman and Ronald Malone.
