The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce has found itself a new president.
Bringing in the new year, Eric Nelson, owner of Nelson Automotive, finished his term as president of the company. The position was passed to Matt Coyne, co-owner of E.J. Coyne & Co., a local insurance agency specializing in auto, home, life and business insurance, on Jan. 10.
Coyne was inducted as the Park Chamber’s 2017 president by Park Ridge acting Mayor Marty Maloney during the Chamber’s Installation Ceremony. The annual event inducts new members, but also allows members the opportunity to recognize the accomplishments from the previous year and welcome new board members to the organization.
Eric Nelson will stay with the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce on the board of directors as past president. Shawn Cook, a wealth adviser with SAGE Private Wealth Group, was named president-elect.
Other newly inducted board members are Jo Ann Flynn, Village Bank & Trust; Anna Wasyliw, BMO Harris Bank; Gail Haller, Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce; David Arena, Di Monte & Lizak; Joe Campagna, Grant Merchant Services; Linda Russo, Hair & Makeup Guru; and Emily Wilderman, WineStyles.
