Illinois American Water’s Peoria District honored its employees with over 30 years of service this month, including several who have served for over 40 years with the company.
The company awarded them with a celebration and induction into the Illinois American Water 30-plus club and the Illinois American Water 40-plus crew.
“Our employees are our greatest asset,” Roger Goodson, senior manager of field operations and production, said in a company news release. “We are honored to celebrate these impressive milestones with our coworkers. Their knowledge, expertise and incredible passion for providing the best service to their neighbors is inspiring.”
Over 15 employees were bestowed with the achievement, including Gary Campbell, a 31-year employee and working foreman.
“Illinois American Water is a wonderful company to work for,” he said. “I think that’s evident in the number of employees making a life-long career here. I’m proud to work for Illinois American Water.”
Illinois American Water is the largest investor-owned water utility in Illinois. It also operates a customer service center in Alton and a research laboratory in Belleville. J.D. Power ranked it the “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Water Utilities in the Midwest.”
