Follett Corp. taps Coe as chief operating officer

Follett Corp. President and CEO Ray Griffith recently introduced George Coe as chief operating officer for the company. 

Coe will head the development of Follett’s enterprise strategies and direct its businesses, initiatives and resources, effective March 31. Under Coe’s leadership, the company hopes to show growth and expand its business.

"George brings an outstanding track record of business leadership to Follett at a time of incredible growth potential for the company," Griffith said in a press release. "Over the past 18 months, Follett has acquired a number of companies that uniquely position us to help educators and community members around the world improve learning and shape education. Recognized inside and outside the company for his visionary thinking and operational results, George is the right leader to guide our business operations and deliver on this purpose."

Coe attended Lycoming College and received his masters from Bucknell University. Previously, he’s served as vice president and general manager of Brodart Books.
