Chicago-based hotel management company Oxford Hotels & Resorts LLC, affiliate of Oxford Capital Group, announced Thursday that it is planning on rebranding the Days Inn Chicago into Hotel Versey. The new hotel will be a lifestyle brand located at the Clark and Diversey Corridor.
Hotel Versey will be a 135-room property in the Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods. The hotel will highlight and display local art in its public spaces and will embrace a bold and quirky design. According to the management group, it will be billed as a great destination for diverse guests and visitors from around the world.
The property is in a historic building in two of Chicago’s biggest neighborhoods. It was originally named The Diversey Arms, home to an array of major jazz, soul and rock 'n' roll artists throughout the past century. The new name—Hotel Versey—pays tribute to the hotel’s original name and the current V-shaped structure.
The hotel will remain affiliated with Days Inn by Wyndham. The property will also remain open during the construction. To learn about Hotel Versey or to make a reservation, visit www.daysinnchicago.net or call 773-525-7010.
